Welcome to Trading Communities 1.0!

Why 1.0? Because we have grand ideas, and they are just taking a little while to execute in the quality we would like to deliver for our community members. But since time waits for nobody, let’s get started! It’s not pretty, it’s not revolutionary, but it is here and it is now!

So what exactly is Trading Communities all about?

Over the past several years I’ve had the good fortune to have traveled around the globe, from the Americas, to Europe and Asia. During my travels I was part of a dynamic group of individuals who while traveling exchange cultural knowledge, ideas, and expand this community through events organized in each location that we visited or resided along the way. I also ran into many traders during my adventures, swapping ideas and looking at our different trading styles, and stories about the nomadic traveling lifestyles trading has given us.

So one day I asked myself, “why don’t traders have such a resource?”. It’s not always easy to find like minded people who share in our passion for trading, let alone somebody to discuss your favorite trading theories with. And if you move cities and countries as often as I do, it’s handy to have a location to go to that will tell me what’s happening in my local area.

Many of us trade intraday systems also, be it Stock Equities, Futures or FX. Some of these systems mean screen watching as charts tick up and down for hours on end. Can you spot every trade on your own? I now I can’t! The Trading Communities forums and chat lounge give you a place to meet other traders, and build your own trading teams to combine your efforts as you try to spot every trade, and improve your trading edge.

For now we have a few things in place. The weekly wrap looking mainly at the larger view of the markets, and the daily blog focusing on which instruments and markets I’m following with my own trading at the moment. I’ll be using the forum as a repository for any interesting information that I think people may benefit from.

Do you ever have people say to you, “I wish I could be a trader like you, but where do I start?”. To give you an answer to that question we’ll be launching a FREE online video training covering risk management, trade setup, entries, exits, indicators and more! The course will cover the basics of the system that allowed me to move from being a full time slave, to a traveling trader. These materials will be a must see for anybody wanting to begin the journey of taking their financial destiny into their own hands, while avoiding the pitfalls and trading scams that are waiting around every corner.
